When I started this blog I was intent on it not being a forum about my personal life, I didn't want to make any posts about how I feel or what's going on in my life, and I didn't want to write about upcoming shows and stuff, as I think all of that goes kinda unoticed or is talked about in more detail elsewhere. I guess I've already kind of broken one of those rules by talking about surgery and my hand, but I find that pretty interesting myself, so a fuck you to those rules is in order. And now to break another.
I'll keep it as short and as simple as I can. Find A Way have been the most important band to me for a very long time, I'm not name dropping, or bigging up local bands or anything, I'm being as honest as I can be and I think a good few people know why they're so important. I won't dwell on the reasoning now as it's not the place. They're having their 'last show for a long time' this Sunday. It's in aid of The Irish Cancer Society, it's five euro in, First Death are playing a reunion at it too. If you're ever going to do me a favour, go to this. Go to this instead of buying me a birthday present, go to this instead of getting me a Christmas present, go to this instead of offering me good advice or sharing music with me or anything. Just go to this. It's for Charity, it's a fiver, there will be fail dives, there will be new The Blind songs. Just fucking go. I go to a lot of shows, and if you're reading this and don't usually go to shows, have probably tried to make you go to one before, don't mind them, go to this. I don't want to sound like Bob Geldof.
